Tonight in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, (at approx 22:28) I observed what started of as 2 fiery balls in the sky moving up from behind the house behind my sisters this then changed to 3, and eventually 5 different firey balls of light. They seemed to move independently, and moved in different directions and different speeds. They were also different sizes which I guess was to do with distance. Over time they seem to do out of visable range, getting smaller/dimmer before dispearing into the horrizon. A few minutes later there seemed more to launch off from the horizon, and it totalled 5 in all. Eventually they all disappeared, but over the course of the next 20mins, more were seen, to be moving around the sky.
My guess is they would be over the Clipstone or Ollerton region of Nottinghamshire.
I have a few blurry photos, and a movie, but as there from my mobile phone there not great.... but they do show 2/3 orange firey balls launching off into the sky...
I am quite scared about this, as its not the 1st time I have seen weird firey orange lights in the sky moving at high speeds and direction changes... tI saw one quite close back in Nov 2007... and was called a nuter back then, difference is this time it was observed by 5 different people (we were having a BBQ!).

Thanks for the message Fleaburn!
I have received several calls, emails etc over the past 72 hours regarding UFO activity and sightings. I have had reports of firey lights from near the Triple S in Skegby, reports from Skegby hall residents and a few calls from people in Forest Town
I will email a few contacts I have to see what responses they have had on recent activity.
This is unfortunatley however an area we do not investigate, although I will be more than happy to put you in contact with anyone I can find that may be able to offer help or advice
Please email via the Contact page on our main site or drop me a "Private Message" through this forum if you so wish!
Many thanks
Paul

It'll be easily explained!
We get lots of lights around the mountains here where I live but always have easy explanations
It's always the one in the 1,000 that cannot be explained that gets you that strange feeling in ya belly!

We had a strange Orange glow outside our window a few nights ago. My house backs onto an open field so can easily say the light was not caused by passing car, or person with Torch as I am really out in the sticks. It was around 2am the light was constant for around 30 seconds or so as I climbed out of bed to have a look it simply vanished. Slightly nervously I looked outside, could not see any lights anywhere. But as I looked up to the night sky the only thing I could describe is that there was a fireball moving very quickly across the sky before it was gone?

Sorry, I believe in ghosts and spirit world but sadly I cannot get my head around the UFO stuff. Granted I do have a belief that cannot be alone out there but I just can't see spaceships flying around without us knowing 100%
