Two really for me.......
1) Clifton Hall - When we were there it was always a case of you just never knew what was going to be greeting you in the next room or corridor. Quite possibly the only place I have ever actually been a little scared of what could happen next.
2) The old Asylum (Wales) with the Secret Society crew. This place was 3 floors of hell from the old morgue to the old cells. The Wardens house and the old church. Shame it has now been demolished. The noises heard in this place were ungodly!

Haven't had much experience to draw from, but one spooky place I would love to investigate is Bodmin Jail in Cornwall. Really creepy, even during the day, full of tourists.

I'd love to spend time under water on an old shipwreck to see if anything resides with the wreck below the waves....... I mean who says ghosts have to be on land?
