To date disappointingly I have only ever had the one "Paranormal" experience shall we say. But it has left me wanting to find out more hence why I love all things spooky now..
I was around 14, I had been to an old Abbey whilst on holiday in England with my folks on one of those boring days (as they seemed then) that you have as a child.
Walking around dragging my feet as I did (I was a moody teenager) 12 foot behind my parents I heard a male voice. I looked but no one was there. As I turned back around there was what I could only describe as an old round head soldier stood side on in front of me) - I stared in disbelief at first and he turned to face me, put his finger to his lips as if to say ""ssshhhhhh" and then walked through the closed door to my left.
I immediately ran to my parents who dismissed what I had seen. I asked a lady working in the shop outside the abbey about this man, he apparently has been seen on several occasions.
Made me a believer ever since.
*Sadly I cannot remember the place, I am living in the UK at the moment and was sure I wanted to revisit the place, just can't remember where it is.

Such a shame you cannot revisit, on the same day of the year, same time of day etc to see if this would be replicated. I had something similar on an underground train in London, this guy just walked past me, stopped to look at me, then disappeared through the side of the carriage into the tunnels (it could not have been human as the train was moving at the time)
I caught the same train numerous times since and never encounted him again

I have had loads of things happen, but never really had proof of them if you not what I mean. We have all sorts of things happen here on the farm and we are miles from the nearest settlement. We have doors open and close. Lights flickering on and off, then my husband who is completely skeptical accused me of hiding a gentleman caller, he says he watched the man sneak through the hallway and into the kitchen. He followed but the man had simply disappeared.
Our Sheep dog regularly takes toys into the hallway too as if wanting to play with someone, or something?
